Welcome to First Grade!
Hi, I am Tara Berry. I have been teaching since 2004. I am originally from Pennsylvania. I moved to Georgia
in 1999. My hubby and I live in Paulding County. We have 3 spunky children and 2 crazy
doggies. In December 2003, I graduated from The State University of
West Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I furthered
my education by receiving a Master's Degree, Reading Endorsement Certification,
and an Educational Specialist Degree. I presented my research on Literacy
through Technology at the both the National Association for the
Education of Young Children in Chicago, and the National Reading Association in
Atlanta. Every year I strive to improve my teaching. I want to ensure that your child is given the best educational foundation possible!!!
My goal this year is to make your child excited about coming
to school daily!!! I want them to be enthusiastic about sharing their learning experiences with you! I promise to make their learning meaningful and fun. I want
each child to feel safe and valued in our classroom. We will work hard but also
find time to enjoy the whole process of learning. I strongly believe that it
takes a team to educate a child and I welcome your input and concerns always! Please
