Click here for our weekly news.

I cannot thank you enough for all of your support, kindness, and love so far this year. This has easily been my best year! I truly love my class and feel so grateful and blessed that I am able to be a small part in your child’s life. Thank you for letting me share this school year with your child. I truly could not do this without you! Hoping you and your families have a wonderful Winter break/Holiday season!

Word of the week: Gratitude- The quality of being thankful, to show appreciation.

We are thankful for our wonderful PTA and school community! Teasley is The Best School EVER!!
I am thankful for all of YOU
We are very grateful to Mrs. Crosby for all of her extra hard work! Here she is helping us use SeeSaw to draw a flower and label the function of each plant part!

Look at those adorable communicators in PJs sharing ideas and learning to work together to solve problems!!!
We are learning how to collect and analyze data. We worked in groups to create comparison questions about our graph data. Then we worked at centers to solve each other's questions

Conferences Next Week

Conferences- Week of October 14th

Please sign up for a time to meet next week. If you have not signed up for a time, I will schedule a time for you.

These days are early release days.

The link above is a sign up genius for you to choose a time that is most convenient for you.

Although we prefer face to face meetings, if you are not able to physically make it to any of the time slots, but can do a phone conference, please sign up for a time and in parentheses next to your child's name, please write "phone conference". I am happy to call you during that time for your conference.

Have a wonderful afternoon,

Show support for our ATLANTA FALCONS! RISE UP! #FalconsFriday

Tomorrow students are allowed to wear a Falcons shirt or jersey and school appropriate athletic bottoms or jeans. Lets cheer on our home team and show support for our ATLANTA FALCONS! RISE UP!

Invention Time!!!

We are quickly approaching the end of our unit, Pioneers Drive Change. We are charging the students with inventing something new.

Their invention must be something that will drive change and help someone else or make lives better, just as Benjamin Franklin's inventions did.

Your assistance is needed!

As you come across items that you would typically discard, we ask that you send them into the classroom. We are asking for items such as paper towel rolls, tissue rolls, juice cartons, jugs, cereal boxes and so on. Your child is going to create an object by using items such as these in the classroom.

Please send in these items on Monday.

Thanks in advance!

Career Day Volunteers

October 18, 2019 from 8:30-11:30. During this day we would like to give our students the opportunity to explore a variety of careers and learn how education is connected to a successful future.
We’re looking for energetic presenters from a broad range of careers speak to our students about the world of work. Presenters will be assigned to classrooms that are age-appropriate for 20-25 minutes and then rotate to a different classroom. It is likely that some classes may be combined for a larger audience. We welcome hands-on activities, vehicles, visual aids, displays, props, and uniforms. We can assist with display set-up and technological needs if necessary. Each class has laptops, smartboards and internet access.
If you or someone you know will be able to join us on Career Day, please fill out this form and return it to school OR email the information to us at the email addresses below by Friday, October 4, 2019. Please save the date and you will be contacted closer to the day with a schedule (specific times and class information). Thank you!
