FIELD TRIP FORM

Teasley families - As you know, all field trips were canceled through the end of the school year.  If you have paid for a field trip, we are able to issue you a refund once we have returned to school.  Some of you may choose to donate your funds to the school.  These funds would be used to support a family in need or to purchase supplies for the classroom or for students.  If you would like to donate your funds, please complete this FIELD TRIP FORM.  If you have questions, please reach out to our bookkeeper, Becky Gibson: Becky.Gibson@cobbk12.org.  Thank you so much.

School closure support

  • Access all lessons, for free. We’ve unlocked all mini-lessons and made all of our lessons available for free through June, for all parents and teachers. You can invite others to sign up for free by sharing this URL: https://mysteryscience.com
  • Share student links with parents. Students don’t need accounts or logins; they just click on the links to access videos and student materials.
  • Use easy-access school closure resources. Copy and paste 10-12 student links per grade; these are the easiest lessons to do at home. This page is also available in Spanish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your patience and for trying our new digital format! Take a deep breath, I know this is new for all of us! Please continue to ask questions and reach out to me if you are confused. Try your best!

Don’t forget to check out the morning news here: https://www.cobblearning.net/teasleylibrary/

Some frequently asked questions:
  1. Complete lessons on your time. I realize many parents might be working during the day, and helping your child after work. That is great! I will be frequently checking my messages and emails outside of the “office hours” (9-10:30) to respond to any questions that you have!
  2. If you see a video or directions from another 1st grade teacher, your child will still complete the activity. We are working together to create lessons to help all first graders! Your student now has several teachers!
  3. You can choose to upload pictures to your child’s Seesaw journal of the assignments your child is completing at home, or you can keep them until we return to school. Seesaw activities can be completed on your child’s activities screen (this is the light-bulb icon). When completing assignments, don’t forget to hit the green check on the activity or journal post, and wait until it says uploaded!
  4. To access Brain Pop: go to www.clever.com/in/cobb  Then click login with active directory. Username is your child’s firstname.lastname  password: read
  5. There are additional practice your child may choose to do outside the lessons: (Raz Kids,      Dreambox, freckle, and just enjoying a book).

Please again don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I am here to help! I hope you are all in good health!
