This Friday’s PJ Day benefits the Center for Children and Young Adults. Find more information about them at www.ccyakids.org. See you Friday in your PJs for a great cause. Your ONE DOLLAR can make a big difference in the life of a local young person!

The Read Across America - Favorite Book Character Parade!

The Read Across America Action Team is excited to announce our Favorite Book Character Parade! This will be happening the morning of February 28th, 2020. Choose your favorite book character to dress up as!

Community Service Project

Our Teasley Leaders need your help! They will be assembling care packages to distribute to those in need as a community service project. They are asking for donations of items to include in these care packages.

Please consider donating one or a few of the items listed below: Trash Bags Combs Men's Socks Women's Socks Packs of Peanut Butter Crackers Packs of Cheese Crackers Chapstick Nail Clippers Hand Wipes Toothpaste Individually Packaged Toothbrushes Individual Tissue Packs Bandaids

A box in the lobby will be available to collect the donations. Thank you in advance for your support!! We will be accepting these donations until February 14.

Valentine’s Day is almost here!

Dear Parents,

We will be exchanging valentines on this Friday, February 14th. Students may bring Valentine’s Day cards and/or candy to give to his/her classmates that day! Please do not send them in earlier.

Please follow these guidelines:

Make sure to bring a card/candy for each student in our class (21).

Please send all cards/candy in a bag inside your child’s backpack.

Your child can fill out the “To” and “From” sections of his/her valentines using the class list below.

Candy must be pre-packaged and individually-wrapped.

Your child should only bring valentines for students in our class. Students will not be allowed to deliver valentines to students in other classrooms~ sorry about that! It leads to hurt feelings, disruption of other classes, students wandering the halls, etc.

If your child has a card for another staff member (principal, past teacher, custodians, specialist, counselor, etc.), we will make sure it is delivered.

We will be making Valentine bags in class…no need to bring or make anything J

*Please note bringing cards or treats is completely optional!

Specials Night

We're wild about specials! All Kindergarten and 1st Grade students are invited to perform on March 5th at 7:00 PM for Specials Night. Your child will be learning songs in Music class and in Spanish class to share with you. If your child is interested in taking part in the performance, please click the link below and fill out the survey. All rehearsals take place during Music and Spanish class, so your child won't have any after school or morning rehearsals. Simply sign up, and show up to perform on March 5th!

The deadline to sign up is February 28th. A confirmation email will be sent out with more details about the night after the deadline. Students who perform will wear a solid green shirt with khakis.

Parents/Guardians of Teasley K-2^nd Graders, 

We are excited to announce our first annual Breakfast with Buddies! Bring your coffee and enjoy a casual morning eating donuts with your child.  This event will take place the morning of Friday, March 20^th from 7:20-7:50 in your student’s classroom.  Maximum of 2 grownups per student.
